What is site flipping?

Website flipping is just another arm of internet marketing. It is like real estate in the real world. It is the act of buying and selling websites on the internet. With website flipping you will be buying a domain name for as little as $10, build a simple to build site on it and then sell it for as much as $300 and even $10,000.

NB : I have not sold a single site for $10,000 before but I have sold one for $4,000 before which is the highest single transaction I have done as a website flipper - no point in telling you I made $1 billion in one transaction.

How I started flipping websites

Back in November/December 2007, I was a yahoo boy who was sick and tired of being a yahoo boy and needed a way of escape from the emotional turmoil of being a yahoo boy - yes, it is true that I was making money but it was affecting my relationship life and my conscience. Being a yahoo boy was tough on me as I was going to lose my current girl friend who I started dating as far back as 2005 because of it ( we are still dating and we will announce our wedding soonest by God's grace ). I wanted to give up but had no way of making money and didn't want to give up without something to fall back on.

To cut the long story short, I met success digest and got to know about the internet marketing. I was passionate about giving up but at the same time I didn't want to do it without having something to fall back on. I started reading books and through the help of a friend, I started reading success degist again ( OKAY, I have been reading the paper since I was in secondary school but was not serious with it and stop reading it totally when I became a yahoo boy ) and that was it.

I started learning how to use my computer expertise in a good way to make money online. I went to different seminars both in Lagos and outside Lagos - I was at demystifying the internet 2 or 3 ( can't remember which of them ). I read so many books, talked to so many people.

Fortunately for me I had a mentor in Mrs Iyabo Oyawale who is always giving me the motivational push that I needed. Through her help, I was able to discover the forum known as the warrior forum. It was through this forum that I got to know about site flipping.

I tried all arms of internet marketing that I know of but none seems to be working for me. Kudos, to Mrs Iyabo, the warrior forum and my beautiful girlfriend, I am now regarded as an expert when it comes to website flipping.

Well, this message is not all about me. I am writing this note because of the so many messages I have gotten from people asking me to organize seminars that they can attend so as to learn internet marketing and site flipping. Unfortunately due to my health and the troubles involved with seminars I have decided I will not be running any seminar till further notice and even then, anything I organize will not be normal seminars. I and my partners have decided we will not be doing normal 1-2 days seminars again due to the stress involve, we will instead be opening something like a school for prospective internet marketers.

The unfortunate thing is that the school will not kick off soon and there are so many people who can not wait. This is why I am writing this note. If you are one of those who :

How can you teach me?

Well, I already said I will not be organizing any seminars any time soon. I have ebooks that teach website flipping but I am no longer selling the books not because they are not informative but because what many Nigerians need is not ebooks but a mentorship course that will guide them to success. While those in Lagos will be shipped the same video. Once you have the video, you will need have to watch it and practice what the video teaches if you understand straight off or write to me to let me know where you don't understand.

It will be like a normal class room thing where the teacher teaches you a topic ( I will be using a video like I said ) then give you assignments and then review it when you are done and make necessary corrections.

The same thing applies to those outside Lagos. The only difference is that the DVDs will be shipped to wherever you are and you will be the one to bear the extra cost for shipping which shouldn't be more than N2,500 at most.

1. Keyword research : This is by far the most important aspect of internet marketing as far as I am concern.

3. How to write your articles - Many people get scared of this but it is actually very easy.

How to build your website - Many believe it is hard to design a website but the truth that it is actually very easy and you can design the type of website we need for this purpose under 15 minutes and make good money from it. Please note that the website here are not the fancy type of websites but they are perfect for what we need them for.

5. How to generate traffic. The more traffic you have the more money you make therefore this aspect is also very important. This is one aspect that so many Nigeria so called internet marketing gurus have not been able to get.

6. How to list your site for sell, when to list and how to price the site.

NB : Aside the video, you will be getting series of follow messages via email and tons of ebooks that will further help you to succeed ( if you put what they teach to practice ).

How soon can I make money?

Well, how soon you make money depends on how much effort you put into what I am going to teach but if you can devote 4 hours per day for 5 days a week to what I teach, then I can guarantee that you will make at least $1,000 in your first 90 days. This is quoting the lowest possible figure as the first 3 months is meant to be for learning and experimenting but that does not mean you can not make money in your first 3 months.

The most important thing is for you to be able to understand how it is done. Making money is good but learning how to make money should be the paramount thing in your mind though I am not saying you will not making any money at all. In fact there are those that will be able to make as much as $3,000 in the 3 months period if they are hard working enough.
